Hello! My name is Heather and I set up this counselling practice, Prime Counselling. I’m a qualified counsellor, and member of the BACP, who is here to help you reach your goals and provide a listening ear to your worries. Counselling can be hard to access when you need it, as such I’m providing private counselling so that when you need support, it’s available as soon as possible. I believe that you have the knowledge of how best to live your life, I’m here to support you and help you find a way through the confusion to identify the best solution for you. I provide person-centred counselling and use some creative approaches to aid our sessions. I also provide sessions online or via telephone if this suits you better than in person sessions. MY JOURNEY TO COUNSELLING

I started my career into counselling by completing my degree in Psychology. Here I discovered a love of counselling and a way to fulfill my wants of helping people. I've volunteered with several charities within the community and love to find ways to give back to those that need it. I enjoy working with my clients to help them find the best solutions to their worries. Seeing the progress that clients make brings me a lot of happiness and I love to hear about my client’s success stories, it is a honour to have you share with me all that you may bring. I believe in breaking the stigma that is all too often associated with mental health and aim to be an advocate wherever possible. If you would like to learn more, please get in touch!

50 MINUTE COUNSELLING SESSION - IN PERSON

Counselling sessions are spaces in which you are free to talk about whatever you feel you need to on the day. Session goals can be set at the beginning of our counselling sessions so that on days in which you may be unsure of what to talk about, we have a goal or event in mind to discuss. Counselling can be whatever you need it to be at that time and is very flexible, sometimes it's just nice to be listened too! I also use creative tools sometimes to help you connect with what you are bringing, this can be discussed in sessions but can range from letter writing to play-doh!

Free Yoga

50 MINUTE COUNSELLING SESSION - ONLINE

Much the same as in person sessions but from the comfort of your own home! Some prefer online sessions for the ease of access or find it fits in better with their busy schedules.
